White Fillings
Tooth-Colored Restorations
Disappear in Your Smile
Metal in your dental restorations is so yesterday. These days, we use natural-looking composite materials to fill cavities. These white fillings aren't only more attractive than metal, they're safer and stronger. Best yet, when you smile, no one will know you've ever had a cavity.
Pain-Free Injection
Before we place your white filling, we will "numb" your mouth. For many patients, that's the worst part of getting a tooth filled. If you are afraid of the Novocain injection, rest easy. We use The Wand! The Wand looks like a pen and is a computer-controlled dental injection. It regulates the flow rate of the local anesthetic so medicine is delivered in a slow and steady manner. The result? No pain. You won't ever be afraid of Novocain again.
Air Abrasion
When possible, we use air abrasion in place of the drill to clear away decay and prepare the tooth for its new filling. Air abrasion is so comfortable there is often no need for an anesthetic (Novocain shot). Air abrasion can reduce treatment time by half, provides effective and precise care and eliminates the discomfort of being numb for hours. No wonder it's such a popular treatment option!
