Replace Missing Teeth Permanently
While there are many options for replacing missing teeth, such as bridges or dentures, only one offers a permanent solution: dental implants.
There are three elements to a dental implant:
- The titanium "root"
- The abutment
- The ceramic "tooth" that is placed on the root
To place an implant or implants, Dr. Alex works as a team with a dental specialist to surgically place the titanium root in your jaw.
Once the gum tissue has healed around the root, Dr. Alex will place an abutment onto the implant. The abutment looks like a screw; this piece will hold the new tooth in place.
Dr. Alex will then place the custom-created tooth on the abutment.
Made of porcelain, the new tooth looks, feels and functions just like the teeth in your mouth! It looks so natural, no one will be able to tell that you have dental implants. It feels so natural, you won't be able to tell either! Except when you see your attractive smile.
